Yup. We use this to steam Tamales. The stand off keep them above the water. You can add water through the side port. The three chamber separator makes stacking them easier, The lid closes tight. The handles are solid and riveted to the Stainless Steel body. Best Tamale pot I've ever owned and I'm 80 years old.
