This did not come with instructions. Well, maybe it did - the outside of the box had writing all over it in an Asian language or languages that I can't read.So I Googled "microwave egg boiler instructions", found a PDF for the Nordic Ware microwave egg cooker, downloaded it, followed those instructions, and 9 minutes later I had hard boiled eggs from the microwave. Easy peasy.Now: I did not add salt to the water. I have a Joi microwave single egg boiler that does tell you to add salt to the water, but the instructions I found side not day to add salt, so I didn't, and it worked great anyway.This does 4 eggs at a time, which really helps; I have one egg to eat and three to take to work, add to a salad, make deviled eggs, whatever. I use this thing at least once a week. It's fantastic.The only bummer is the eggs come out with the yolks ringed in green. But they taste the same so I don't really care. I'll try it with salt to see if it prevents the green-ringed yolks, then update this review.
