I liked rice rolls and this thing works well! The only problem I had was that the handle came loose after a few uses. I needed to use longer screws and a different knob.I purchase in 5/24/22 using this 4 month the pan start rust, I don't believe this is 304 stainless steel.The grooves in the wood handles are too narrow for the pieces of metal that are supposed to go in them. They do not fit inI cannot make use of the wood handles. How can I them replaced? Just the wood handles. Thank youJennieThe trays are uneven so all the liquid ends up weirdly on the tray. Unable to make a single good roll out of it.My aunt wanted to make rice cakes at home because her teeth and health are slowly deteriorating. Rice cakes seemed to really make her happy. Using a steaming tray / pot gave her unsatisfactory / amateurish results. I remembered watching some YouTube vids of people making them with something similar to this one. This was the only one on Amazon that has a protruding handle and extra tray for easier prep. It's not perfect by any means (eg. fairly thin medal and some sharp metal parts) but produces excellent results.There are couple advantages feature of this model such as the removable cover and the wooden handle and this is a plus for home use. It's easy to clean and add water to the steamer with the removable cover. The wooden handle provides stability to the tray when you pull it out and it cools to the touch. Personally I think the stainless steel they used to make this steamer is not bad at all. The steamer is solid enough and the cover does not swap when removed , the strays stay flat as well. We just had home style dim sum noodle roll 2 hours after we got it and our family love it.It does what you want it to do which is make noodles. However, the metal is very flimsy and there are already some signs of rust on the inside corners after 2 uses.Assembly is simply straight forward. The black plastic knob on removable case top is filmsy/cheap. The included screw could not tighten the lid to the knob because the plastic thread of the knob stripped right away. I threw it away and used the knob of an old pot lid which I was about to throw away.Used it once and did not have any problem. I really like the wooden handles. They help holding the trays so easy.
